Filthy rich, dirt poor, or just hungry—pull up a chair.

We are Stockport’s open door. No forms. No judgment. Just dinner and a warm welcome.

From a car park to a community.

In 2013, we were told there were "no homeless people in Stockport." We didn't buy it. So we set up a table in a car park.

Five people came the first week. Fifty came the next.

"We welcome football-mad Dads, latte-sippers, and bleeding hearts. We don't sanitize reality. We talk about addiction, jail, and poverty, but we do it with love, not pity."

Another amazing Sunday! Roast beef with all the trimmings tonight. Huge thanks to Dave and Sarah for scrubbing the pots. The plates were licked clean! #Stockport #SundayRoast

Did you know? Many of our guests have "No Recourse to Public Funds." That means no benefits, no safety net. Just us. We are the gap in the fence. #EndHomelessness

Last Week

"I came for a meal 5 years ago. Now I run the front desk." Peter's story is why we do this. It's not about the food, it's about the friendship.

Not grown up yet? Join the line.

We need pot-washers, listeners, chefs, and tea-makers. You don't need to be a saint, you just need to show up.
